Animation
"The Last Dungeon" is a dark and mystical short film brought to life using Maya and Unreal Engine 5. This was crafted by a select group of top students personally chosen by SCAD to partake in a special collaborative studio opportunity. Click to learn more about my shots and breakdowns for this film!
You Have to Call Me
Some of my favorite things to animate are fun and silly, so to challenge myself with this piece, I strove to portray a more serious tone. I aimed to illustrate the trials and tribulations within a strained father-daughter relationship. This scene proved challenging as it involved juggling two opposing personalities. However, this experience allowed me to delve into the intricacies of dialogue animation and combine it with all the knowledge I've gained thus far.
Tea Party
Similar to "Kayla's First Homerun," this piece was also created for my ANIM 323 class. The assignment revolved around a weight lift exercise. Beyond just defining the character's identity, I dedicated considerable attention to the environment surrounding her. To achieve a more immersive setting, I integrated multiple diverse models sourced from various places, resulting in a homey environment that suited her perfectly.
Created for the band "Twenty One Pilots", this project strived to emulate popular study ambience videos commonly found on Youtube. I was tasked to animate various cycles to be looped in a 10 hour video. This project challenged me with an unfamiliar pipeline and an animation program I hadn't previously used, all to be completed within a very short timeframe!

Kayla's First Homerun
This project was an assignment for my ANIM 323 class, where the original prompt was to explore the concept of a simple swing principle. However, I wanted to take it a step further and imbue the character with a distinct personality. My goal was to delve deeper into her identity and truly understand who she is as a character.
